Alaska -- Day 5

Today, we moseyed on 174 miles north and west, entering Montana soon after we hit the road.

We drove through the Crow Reservation

which means some of the highway signs are bilinqual. Am I ever glad no one told me I had to learn Crow.

We saw a few of the pretty paint horses that the Crows love so much.

The landscape between Sheridan, WY, and Hardin, MT, is beautiful. We spent over two months here, three years ago. We were work kampers at 7th Ranch RV in Garryowen. We enjoyed exploring the territory here.

As we headed west, we saw the Absaroka Range (I think), which is just north of Yellowstone National Park.

The landscape wasn't nearly as green.

Tonight, we are staying in Columbus, MT, then tomorrow we head to Helena, where we will do some genealogy research.
