Traveling in Colorado

Chatfield and Cherry Creek State Parks are two of our favorite places to stay in the RV. Cherry Creek has a shooting range and twice we went shooting there. div>

The next week, our granddaughter Kylie came shooting with her day and us. We had a good time then, too.

Our son Eric and grandson John joined us one day.  We  returned to our trailer and cooked hamburgers for lunch.

The next week, our granddaughter Kylie came with her dad to shoot with us.  It was another good day!

On our last day in the Denver area we enjoyed a cookout with Eric and his family.

These buck deer were very comfortable around the campers at Cherry Creek State Park .  What a treat to see them.

We saw this amazing motor home while walking in the park.  We have never seen one this big.

From Cherry Creek, we moved to a commercial park near Golden, Dakota Ridge Resort.  We went into Golden to look around.  Of course, Golden means Coors Beer--"brewed from clear Rocky Mountain Spring Water."  This is the main brewery.

And, of course, the table mountain featured on Coors cans, is nearby.

We couldn't escape the Covid-19 restrictions.  See the sign below the Iconic Golden sign.  It says masks are required in Golden.

And this is a new sign--we will soon be seeing it everywhere, I imagine.

Downtown Golden has numerous bronze statues.  Here are a  couple we saw.

Soon, we will be west--to Grand Junction, Montrose and on to Utah.  Waiting for Arizona to cool down a few degrees.
