Leaving the Wildlife Behind

Today we left the DeAnza Trails RV Resort in Amado after 8 days. We really enjoyed our time there. Early in the week, we became aware of this horny toad, which spent its time on our patio and under the coax cable for our Winegard Carryout Satellite dish.



That was fine until this morning when we wanted to leave. When I picked up the coax cable, the little fellow began hopping toward the trailer. I couldn't have that. We didn't want him run over when we drove away.

Finally, I picked up the door mat by the RV steps and herded the little fellow onto the gravel about 6 feet away from the trailer. I hope he finds a better home.
